1.) After having my story work shopped I feel as though it has potential to be very entertaining. Many comments were very positive, and so my confidence with it has grown.

2.) Clarity is the area where I will try to focus on. I have a few characters in my story and comments talked about some slight confusion as to whom was speaking.

3.) Some of the things that went well in the first workshop was the believability of my short story.  My characters appeared as though they were actual people. Also the plot worked well because all the comments praised it for its originality. In workshop #2, I want to see better descriptions, and

4.) Claudia Delvillar, Natasha Garcia and Jeremiah Then, were the most helpful.

Author Role-Play

a.) My author Carlos Fuentes, was born in Panama City, Panama, on Novemebr 11th, 1928. He moved around a lot because of his fathers job, which meant he grew up in many different Latin America sea.

c.) Fuentes became interested in writing after his father was posted to the Mexican embassy, in Washington D.C. He began to learn English while living in the U.S and started to write even creating his own magazine. This all occurred between 19340-40.

d.) Fuentes studied law at the age of sixteen at the National autonomous University of Mexico. Afterwards, he went to the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva. During his education, he worked for a daily newspaper named Hoy, and then as head of cultural relations at the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs.
